Consultation Services

On this page you will find a list of services that are available either on a regular basis, or ones I offer periodically. Most of them can be arranged for on an individual basis to suit your particular interest or needs. My areas of specialization, whether counseling, consulting, speaking, or writing include, women's issues, inattentive AD/HD, the emotional legacy of not being diagnosed as a child, and effective counseling approaches for adult's with AD/HD. My orientation is one that looks at the long term challenges affected by AD/HD such as one's self image, relationships and identity.

I.   CONSULTATIONS FOR ADULTS WITH AD/HD AND FOR MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS WHO WORK WITH ADULTS WITH AD/HD (or who want to begin this type of work)
Consultation/supervision, training, staff development: Improve clinical skills in communicating and intervening effectively with adults with AD/HD. (For clinical issues that can be addressed see above areas of specialization).


Consultations can be arranged individually with me or in groups. This can be arranged on an hourly basis or half day workshops.

In-service can be arranged on a one time workshop or ongoing basis for staff in settings such as:

  • Mental health clinics
  • AD/HD clinics
  • College counseling or special services/disability departments 

II.   PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS with AD/HD (or closely aligned AD/HD field)

Mentoring:
Support and coaching in speaking, marketing, writing development in the field, clinical issue impacted by your own AD/HD. Issues of disclosure, memory, practice issues, insecurities, dealing with community colleagues and clients.
