Good Day!
How many times do you say "I'm sorry" to others? Think about sayiing these healing words to yourself today.
Have a great week!
Easy to say - hard to do! It is so much easier to forgive others than to forgive myself. Those internal criticisms have built up over the years and give me that feeling that I am just a little less good than the person standing next to me. Even though few people try as hard as I do (why do I feel like I have to try so hard, anyway?), and am always scanning my behavior and questioning myself for anything I might have done to offend-like what I said or even the amount I spoke, did I talk too much and not give others enough opportunity? I think I will practice this week by not feeling guilty about it if I didn't mean it. Thanks for the reminder, I really can use the break.

This morning's message about courage really resonates with me. I recently sold my home in order to buy a larger one for my fiance, her son, myself and my business. I also left the traditional teaching field and the security associated with working for a large organization. Instead I am developing my own business and have discovered that by taking these courageous and risky steps I am happier, more excited, and yet less stressed-out, less drained.
I remind myself of how I felt days before I made a courageous decision, what I thought during the bridge moment of decision, and the success after the decision. This exercise helps guide my future decisions.
One more courageous, less-foolhardy
Happy Labor Day! We wish you a wonderful day and some ideas about how to make the joys of summer last a bit longer. Enjoy!
