Good Day!
It is so appropriate that you had to WAIT for this Wake-Up Message! Sorry about that.
Listen in for some ideas about patience.
Welcome to your Week!
How often do you experience physical pain? Listen in to discover a new way to think about it. Pain can be good for us if we take time to notice it.
Reggie,
Thanks for the great message, and the important reminder to embrace ALL of the things that remind us of our progress. Pain, fatigue, bags under our eyes, even a pile of dirty laundry can be a wonderful reminder of a weekend full of yard work, soccer games, painting, etc. Your voice even sounded as if you might have been in a little bit of pain when you recorded your message. It added to the effectiveness of the message, whether it was an actor's embellishment or the real thing. Thanks for a great start to the week, and feel better!

Getting our thoughts, words and actions to work together can be challenging. How can you create harmony in your life? Listen in for one idea!
Welcome to May!
Not only did my daughter WRITE this week's message, she recorded it for me! Enjoy the sound of love, because that is exactly what she gave me this Mother's Day Week - a perfect act of kindness!
Thanks Sophia for helping your mom. That's the message I take away from this , the beginning of mothers day week- ask for help! Its not a sign of weakness, it is a great model for kids to see that everyone needs help and it is wonderful for your kids to be able to develop their feelings of competency and for them to receive the benefits that kindness can bring.
Also remember for those of you who don't have children, who aren't moms or have difficult relationships with your children, your grown children, or your own moms, or if your mothers are gone, there are tons of people out there who you can "adopt" even for the day, even for a moment who could use smile or your special way of connecting. Regina and Sophia remind me though that this works in reverse and if you are feeling lonely as many do around holidays, or in need of help, look around- maybe it will come in an unexpected place or from an unlikely person but you have to stay open enough, to let someone come close enough, to receive what they may be able to give you.
What a wonderful daughter you have Reg! Isn't it great when they remind us of what a good job we have done as moms, esp. at this time?! Laura
Thank you! I agree! I think we forget that our kids CAN help US! We don't always have to be Superheros to them - they are just as powerful! Thank you for the lovely comments!
