Good Day!
Are you tense even during the wonderful summer months? Perhaps you could use this reminder to help you be more like the person you already are!
Reggie,
I hear you loud and clear. One of the biggest challenges that I face is being o.k. with an empty space on my calendar, and not feeling compelled to fill it with something. Thanks for the reminder, and for giving me permission to enjoy some lemonade!

Ahhhhh .... It's Thursday and I just listened to this. We are on vacation in a "cottage" for a week, and relaxing is what it's for. Not always easy, but possible. Since I listened to you, Reg, I have consciously let my shoulders go, let my tummy muscles go, and breathed more deeply. Now I feel sleepy and I think I'm going to let it happen. Loved family is here around me, (some of them sleeping), laundry is in the washer, and it's time to rest.
Thanks, and let your own shoulders go!
Welcome to Your Week!
We all have fear about something. The challenge is to face them. This week holds a story that illustrates breaking down that monster one piece at a time.
Please feel free to comment and share how you have overcome YOUR fears!
Thanks for your encouraging words!!! Always so soothing and calming! This will be my most important reminder for a while since it is so appropriate for me to face the many small fears that sometimes seem to overwhelm my life. I like the idea of breaking fear down into smaller tasks, how often I forget this! But I will post it in my forehead for the week :P :P :P. My portable reminder! So here I go continuing one step at a time, breaking down barriers (and many times just pieces of it) one at a time.
Thanks, Aida
Thank you, Sari. It takes one to know one. Once again, you nailed it. My ADD is anxiety-based, so you can imagine how I often walk around in a state of fear. I compensate by being obsessive about getting through the day. It works, but I often expend way too much energy accomplishing tasks and ruminating about decisions. Your support and advice is always helpful. I am a work in progress. One step at a time....Appreciatively, Parker
Wow. That's so true. Thank you for a great message, and for sharing your fears and successes overcoming those fears. Your personal contributions to this blog always make it hit home for me. Congratulations on successfully navigating the soccer weekend. I know how daunting and exhausting they can be. Thanks for your witness, and for a great start to what will be a great week! AH
When is the last time you had an appointment-free day? Can you remember an afternoon when you had nothing scheduled in your calendar? Listen in for an idea that requires no clock.
When was the last time you enjoyed some time alone? It is very important - even vital - for us to spend time without interference from the demands around us.
Take time to do that this week!
What is holding you back? Do you have "stuff" in your life that prevents you from moving forward? Listen in for one way to make a step toward FREEDOM!
Thanks, Reg! I think I'll go through that stack of magazines in the great room and make another trip to the recycle bins!!
