Good Day!
Think about all the little things that happen during your day. They might be predictable or unexpected. Take time to notice those little things that make life worth living!
Remember to take time for HEALTH this week! Schedule time on your calendar for a walk with a friend, a trip to the Farmer's Market, or getting to the gym. Take care of your body and it will take care of you!
Release the need to repay those who help you this week. Offer a sincere "Thank You" and a smile. Soon enough, you will be the one to give of yourself.
Thanks for your very inspiring words, Reggie! It's funny at times for me because I catch myself going in circles with someone who has helped me in some way by words or actions. I literally stop and think of how silly it would be to keep going, and this helps me to stop the "thank you for the thank you" that I am urged, only by my own brain, to do. I've even caught myself before sending a thank you note for a thank you note!! WHEW! No, there was no guilt there. That was an example of stopping the cycle before it became embarrassing to me.
It also helps me to do as you mentioned and think of how I would want another to respond to my helping them. Do I expect an act in return? No! Simply a "thank you" spoken or written is more than enough.
I hope all is well with you! On another note, I must tell you that one of my cats LOVES your voice! She loves Sari's also. I've told Sari of this and wanted you to know that you are also part of her, my cat's, group of enjoyment over the Internet. She's had some voices she obviously didn't like! So, there is an obvious difference in her reaction. :) BTW, her reaction when she enjoys a voice is to come immediately to the computer; softly meow; rub against the edge of the screen; give me a rub on the hand or arm; sit behind the screen and look at me over the top edge of the screen (only her head is showing... a truly delightful sight); and then lie beside the computer and close her eyes!
Have a wonderful week, and THANK YOU for contributing to the start of a wonderful week for me!
Take care of you.
Tina
